St. Augustine and St. Johns County
Can you work around the wiring and internet limits in older downtown buildings?
Short answerYes. Historic buildings are a specific problem we plan for rather than fight.
Downtown St. Augustine has buildings that predate the concept of a network cable, with plaster walls, historic district restrictions on exterior work, and limited fiber availability on some streets. Running new cable is sometimes not an option at any price.
We design around it: properly placed wireless access points instead of drops in every room, cloud services so less depends on a local server, and backup internet over cellular where the wired options are thin. Get the design right and a 120 year old building works fine.
