Beyond break-fix
What can you approve and spend on our behalf without asking us?
Short answerWhatever threshold we agree on during onboarding. Below it we act, above it we ask.
During onboarding we agree on an amount we can spend without checking first, so a failed drive or a dead switch gets replaced while your staff are still working instead of waiting for a signature. Above that number, we call.
We also agree who can approve, and a backup approver, so nothing stalls because the owner is on a roof or out of town for the week.
The exception is a genuine emergency. If the choice is between spending your money and leaving you down, we will act and tell you immediately rather than the other way round. That is a rule we set with you in advance, not one we invent during the outage.
How this fits into a managed IT agreement.
