Who do we call to clean up our SharePoint and OneDrive mess?

Short answerUs. Expect the fix to be mostly decisions rather than technology.

The usual symptoms: nobody knows where the current version of anything is, the same document exists in four places, people email attachments to each other rather than sharing links, files are sitting in the OneDrive of someone who left, and external sharing links were created years ago that nobody has reviewed.

How we untangle it:

  • Find out what is actually in use. Usage data tells us which locations matter and which are abandoned, which stops the cleanup becoming a debate about opinions.
  • Rescue orphaned content. Files belonging to departed staff get moved into company ownership before those accounts are removed. Do this before deleting accounts, not after.
  • Audit external sharing. Almost every cleanup turns up links shared with people who are no longer clients, vendors, or employees. Some of them are years old.
  • Agree one place for each thing, then actually move it. This is where the time goes, and it needs someone from your side who can make decisions.

The part we cannot do for you is decide what matters. The part you should not do yourself is the permissions and the migration.
