You should not choose a provider based on whoever sold it to you. Ask to meet the person who would handle your day to day work and the person who would show up onsite, and ask them something specific about your setup.

We will arrange that, and it costs you nothing. It is a reasonable request, and a provider who deflects it is telling you something about how their delivery team compares to their sales team.
