Fit and experience
Do you actually have someone who understands networking, or does everything become “reboot it”?
Short answerNetworking and security are in-house work for us, not something we escalate away.
Rebooting is a legitimate first step and a terrible ceiling. Firewalls, VLANs, routing, wireless design, and VPNs are routine work here rather than a rare event we outsource.
It shows up in specific places: separating payment or camera traffic from your office network, designing wireless coverage for a shop or warehouse instead of adding another access point and hoping, and chasing an intermittent circuit problem with the ISP so you are not the one sitting on that call with a ticket number.
Test this rather than take our word for it. Describe a networking problem you have actually had and see whether the response is specific or generic. That one question separates providers faster than anything else on this page.
