Network, Wi-Fi and installs
Who do we call to install access points or fix our Wi-Fi coverage?
Most bad office Wi-Fi is a design problem, not an equipment problem. Adding a second consumer router to a network that already has one makes it worse, not better, because now two devices are arguing about the same channels.
What we do instead: look at your floor plan and what the walls are actually made of, place business access points where coverage needs to overlap properly, wire them back to the switch rather than meshing wirelessly where we can, and set channels and power deliberately instead of letting every device shout at full volume.
Before you call, two things that help us quote accurately: roughly how many square feet, and whether anything unusual is in the way. Concrete, brick, lead-lined imaging rooms, metal racking, and commercial kitchens all eat signal in ways drywall does not.
We work in UniFi for most clients, and we support other platforms on client equipment.
