Where do businesses like ours waste money on IT?

Short answerLicenses nobody audits, hardware bought in emergencies, overlapping tools, and cheap equipment bought three times.

The same handful of things, at almost every business we take over:

  • Licenses for people who left. Seats accumulate because nobody audits them. We have found businesses paying for a third more users than they employ.
  • Overlapping tools. Backup running in three places, two antivirus products fighting each other, a security product that duplicates something already included in your Microsoft licensing and switched off.
  • Reactive hardware. Emergency replacements cost more than planned ones and always land in your worst week.
  • Consumer gear in a business. A cheap switch or access point gets bought three times and eats labor every time.
  • A plan sized for a bigger company. Paying for capability that does not apply at your scale.

We look for all of it during the assessment, and the savings sometimes cover a real portion of the monthly fee. Every provider claims they will save you money. Ask them to name exactly where.
