Managed clients get a lower project rate than our standard hourly rate, and both are stated in your proposal. We publish both rates to our clients so nothing is ambiguous when a project comes up. Managed clients get the reduced project rate on planned work, and most projects are quoted as a fixed price anyway so you are approving a number, not an estimate.
