Managed IT Providers in Jacksonville, FL: How They Compare

Eight providers listed alphabetically, with facts from their own websites and a scorecard you can use on any of them

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Quick AnswerJacksonville has dozens of managed IT providers, from small local firms to national companies with an office here. The most useful way to compare them is by size, who they serve, how support is staffed, and what they put in writing. This guide lists eight providers alphabetically, using facts from their own websites, plus a scorecard for evaluating any provider.
Full disclosure: we are Advanced IT Support, and we are one of the companies on this list. We listed every provider alphabetically (which happens to put us first, so skip ahead if you like), and we kept to facts you can check yourself. No rankings, no star ratings, no opinions about anyone's service quality. If you are a business owner choosing an IT company, this is meant to save you an afternoon of tabs.

Search for "managed IT Jacksonville" and you get a wall of similar-sounding websites. Most of them say they are proactive, responsive, and local. Very few say how big they are, who they are built for, or what you can expect when you call. This post pulls the checkable facts into one place.

It also gives you a way to compare providers that does not depend on who has the best marketing. The scorecard in the second half works on any company, including ours.

How This List Was Put Together

We started with the Jacksonville listings on the Cloudtango and Clutch managed service provider directories, kept the companies with a Jacksonville office, and then read each company's own website for the details below. Providers are listed in alphabetical order. The information was checked on October 19, 2026.

What this list is not

It is not exhaustive. Clutch alone lists more than 70 companies for the Jacksonville area. It is also not a ranking. We have not worked with most of these companies and cannot speak to their service. Companies change quickly, so confirm anything important with the provider directly.

What Size and Footprint Change About Your Experience

None of these categories is better or worse in the abstract. They are tradeoffs, and which one fits depends on what you need.

Small, single-office local firms tend to mean fewer people between you and the person who knows your setup, and often direct access to ownership. The tradeoff is less depth for specialized needs and thinner coverage if two things break at once.

Mid-size regional firms usually bring more specialists, formal compliance practices, and larger security teams. The tradeoff can be that your account is one of many, and the person who knows your environment may change.

National companies with a local office offer scale, deep compliance expertise, and in-house security operations. They are often built for larger or more regulated organizations, so a business with 15 employees may find the fit and the pricing different from what they expected.

Our own view, which you should weigh as coming from a company on the list: for businesses with 5 to 200 employees, the thing that matters most is whether the person who answers the phone knows your environment. We wrote more about what local ownership does and does not guarantee in Locally Owned, Not Venture-Backed: What That Actually Means for Your IT Support.

A Scorecard for Evaluating Any Managed IT Provider

Marketing pages sound alike, so ask for specifics. These are the questions that separate providers in practice. Use them on every company you talk to, including us.

  • Response times in writing. Do they commit to specific response windows for critical, urgent, and routine issues in the agreement, and separate response time from resolution time?
  • Who answers the phone. Is it a person who knows your company, an offshore queue, or an automated system? Can you reach a named person for escalations?
  • Who your technicians are. Are they employees or subcontractors? How many other clients does each technician cover?
  • Documentation you own. Will they give you a current copy of your network documentation, admin credentials, and vendor accounts on request?
  • Security stack, itemized. Which endpoint protection, email security, multi-factor authentication, backup, and credential monitoring tools are included, and which are extra?
  • Backups that are tested. How often do they verify that a restore actually works, and where are the backups stored?
  • Pricing clarity. Is pricing per user, per device, or a flat fee, and what is excluded? A quote far below the market range usually leaves something out.
  • Exit terms. What happens if you leave? Contract length, notice period, and handover of documentation and credentials should all be stated before you sign.
  • Relevant experience. Have they supported businesses like yours, with your industry's software and compliance requirements?
  • References. Will they put you in touch with current clients of similar size?

If You Are Switching From an Existing Provider

Many businesses that look at a list like this already have an IT company and are frustrated with it. Switching is usually less disruptive than owners expect when the new provider documents the environment first, coordinates the handover with the outgoing company, and deploys monitoring in parallel before the cutover. If that is your situation, we put together a page on what the process looks like: Switching IT Providers: What to Expect.

And if you want a neutral second opinion on your current setup before deciding anything, a free assessment is a low-pressure way to get one. Here is what actually happens during ours.

Where Advanced IT Support Fits

We are built for businesses of roughly 5 to 200 employees in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Green Cove Springs, and the rest of Northeast Florida. We are locally owned, the owner is reachable, and the team that supports you knows your environment. We are not the right fit for every business. If you need a large regulated environment with a dedicated compliance team, one of the larger firms above may suit you better, and we would rather tell you that than take a poor-fit engagement.

If we are on your shortlist, hold us to the same scorecard as everyone else.
