What goes wrong in a freight or warehouse operation
When dispatch or the warehouse network stops, loads stop with it.
Dispatch is the whole business
If the TMS or dispatch software is slow or down, nothing gets booked, tracked or billed. Every minute shows up somewhere.
Warehouse Wi-Fi was never designed
Scanners and tablets drop off at the far end of the building, because the access points went wherever was convenient at the time.
Freight is a fraud target
Fake carriers, spoofed brokers and changed payment details by email. One compromised mailbox can redirect a payment or a load.
Drivers and staff everywhere
Dispatchers, office staff, warehouse crews and people on the road all need access, set up properly and taken away properly when they leave.
The systems a logistics company runs on
We look after the servers, network, computers and Microsoft 365 your dispatch, transportation management and warehouse software run on, and keep them patched, monitored and backed up.
When a problem belongs to your software vendor, we call them and stay on it until it is fixed. For warehouse Wi-Fi, cabling and firewalls, see our network support.
- Transportation management (TMS)
- Warehouse management (WMS)
- Dispatch software
- Handheld scanners and tablets
- Microsoft 365
Freight does not stop at five. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 8 to 5, and managed clients have an after hours route for things that cannot wait.
When a shipper or insurer asks how you protect data
Cyber insurance applications, and more and more shipper and broker onboarding packets, ask how you secure email, remote access and backups. A wrong answer can cost you the contract or the claim.
We answer from what is actually configured, and fix the gaps first where we can. More on our compliance service.

Questions logistics companies ask
I highly recommend the team at Advanced IT Support. I've been using Jeremiah Dillingham and team for years and they are super dependable and knowledgeable. The team is always responsive and they provide fast dependable service. They recently helped me with a business location move and were top notch throughout the strategy planning and new site planning to the actual day of installation, moving of all computers, printers, phones, modems, and coordination with Comcast Business. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my IT needs. These guys are great at their job!
Do you support our TMS and dispatch software?
Yes. We support the servers, network and computers your transportation management, warehouse and dispatch software run on, and we deal with the software vendor when a problem is theirs to fix.
Can you fix our warehouse Wi-Fi?
Yes. Warehouse coverage usually needs access points placed for the building rather than where it was convenient, plus proper cabling. That work is part of our network support, quoted in writing before we start.
We run outside normal business hours. What happens at night?
Business hours are Monday to Friday, 8 to 5, when a person answers the phone and managed clients' tickets are acknowledged within 15 minutes. Managed clients also have an after hours route for things that cannot wait until morning.
Can you help with cyber insurance and customer security questionnaires?
Yes. We go through them with you and answer from what is actually configured, and fix the gaps first where we can.
What does it cost?
Managed IT is priced per user, per month, and the rate per user comes down as you add people. Our pricing calculator gives you a monthly estimate in about a minute.
Is there a long contract?
No. Agreements are month to month. Give 30 days notice and you are done, with no early termination fee.
