IT support for medical practices in Jacksonville
Charting that loads in every exam room, a front desk that keeps moving, and patient data that stays private. Managed IT for Jacksonville and St. Augustine practices, from a local team that answers the phone.
- EHR and practice software
- HIPAA risk reviews
- Month to month, 30 days notice
- Locally owned since 2014
What goes wrong in a medical practice
When the systems slow down, patients wait, and so does billing.
Every room depends on the EHR
Exam rooms, the front desk and billing all run through the same system. When it is slow or down, the whole schedule backs up.
Patient data and HIPAA
Practices hold health and payment information, and HIPAA expects a current risk analysis, written policies and trained staff to show for it.
Providers working from everywhere
Providers chart from home, other offices and the hospital. Every one of those connections needs to be secure without getting in the way.
Vendors point at each other
The EHR vendor blames the network, the internet provider blames the router, and nobody owns the problem. Someone needs to.
The EHR and practice systems we support
We look after the computers, servers, network and Microsoft 365 your EHR and practice management software run on, keep them patched and secure, and make sure authorized staff can reach them in the office or remotely.
When a problem belongs to your EHR or billing vendor, we call them and stay on it until it is fixed, so your staff is not stuck in the middle.
- eClinicalWorks
- athenahealth
- Epic (community and outpatient deployments)
- NextGen Healthcare
- Kareo and Tebra
- AdvancedMD
Running something not on this list? Ask. Most of the work is the same whatever the software.
HIPAA paperwork that matches how your practice runs
HIPAA expects a current security risk analysis, written policies and procedures, and staff training with a record that it happened.
Because we run your systems, the policies we write describe what is actually configured. More on our compliance service.

Questions medical practices ask
We found solutions to the growing list of those small annoying issues that we've been wasting time finding workarounds. Our productivity has increased; our network is improved. I cannot say enough great things about Advanced IT Support.
Do you support our EHR and practice management software?
Yes. We support eClinicalWorks, athenahealth, Epic community and outpatient deployments, NextGen, Kareo and Tebra, and AdvancedMD, and the computers, servers and network they run on. When a problem is the vendor's to fix, we deal with them for you.
Can you help with HIPAA?
Yes. Our compliance service covers quarterly risk reviews, written security policies kept current, and tracked staff training. Business associate agreements and legal advice stay with you and your advisors.
What happens if the system goes down during clinic hours?
During business hours a person answers the phone. On a managed agreement, tickets are acknowledged within 15 minutes and a technician is working on them within the hour.
Can our providers chart from home securely?
Yes. Remote access is set up behind multifactor sign-in, and access is removed when someone leaves the practice.
What does it cost?
Managed IT is priced per user, per month, and the rate per user comes down as you add people. Our pricing calculator gives you a monthly estimate in about a minute.
Is there a long contract?
No. Agreements are month to month. Give 30 days notice and you are done, with no early termination fee.
