Who to call to manage our systems
Who do we call to manage our Microsoft 365 tenant?
Short answerUs. Users, licensing, security settings, and the backup that Microsoft does not provide.
Most businesses have a Microsoft 365 tenant that someone set up years ago and nobody has administered since. Managing it properly covers:
- Users and access. Joiners, leavers, group membership, shared mailboxes, permissions that reflect current roles.
- Security configuration. Multi factor authentication enforced, legacy authentication disabled, external forwarding blocked, admin rights limited to who needs them.
- Licensing. The right plans, no seats for people who left, renewal dates tracked.
- Monitoring. Alerts on the activity that indicates a compromised mailbox, which is the single most valuable thing on this list.
- Backup. Included in the per-user fee for managed clients, because Microsoft keeps the service running and does not protect your data from deletion or ransomware.
You keep ownership of the tenant throughout. We hold administrative access to manage it, which is not the same thing, and if you leave, it stays yours.
If nobody currently administers yours, a review is worth doing on its own. Dormant accounts, unused licenses, and missing security settings are near universal.
