Who to call to manage our systems

Who do we call to manage our network?

Short answerUs. Firewall, switches, wireless and the internet circuit, monitored and kept current rather than only touched when broken.

Network management covers the equipment most businesses only think about during an outage: the firewall, switches, access points, and the connection itself.

In practice that means firmware kept current, which matters most on the firewall since it sits at the edge of your network; configuration backed up so a failed device can be replaced in an hour instead of rebuilt from memory; monitoring that alerts us when something goes down or degrades rather than when someone calls; documentation of what is plugged in where; and dealing with your internet provider on your behalf.

The configuration backup point is the one people underestimate. When a firewall dies without one, somebody is rebuilding every rule, VPN, and port forward from scratch while your business waits. With one, it is a swap.

What we find on takeover, almost every time: firmware years out of date, no configuration backups anywhere, and rules nobody can explain. That first cleanup is usually where the immediate value sits.
