IT support for Jacksonville businesses
Managed or by the hour, one number to call, and the same small local team either way. A person answers the phone, and on a managed agreement a technician is working on your ticket within the hour.
- A person answers
- Month to month, 30 days notice
- Office in Southpoint
- Locally owned since 2014
Managed or by the hour, with the numbers
Most IT companies make you guess which one you are buying. Here are both.
On a managed agreement
- One monthly price per user, and the rate per user comes down as you add people
- Unlimited remote help desk: calling more often never costs more
- Monitoring, patching, endpoint protection and Microsoft 365 backup included
- Tickets acknowledged within 15 minutes, with a technician working on them within the hour
- An after hours route for things that cannot wait
- On site visits with no hourly labor charge, only a flat trip charge
- Month to month, 30 days notice, no early termination fee
By the hour
- No agreement and no monthly fee
- On site work at $165 an hour, with a one hour minimum
- More than about forty minutes from our office, a one and a half hour minimum instead of a trip charge
- After hours emergency work at $250 an hour
- Booked in as availability allows, with managed clients first
Past a couple of calls a month, the agreement usually costs less than the hourly bill. Ask and we will work it out against your actual numbers.
There is a middle option too: monitoring, billed per machine, with patching and endpoint protection but help desk billed by the hour. The managed IT page compares all three.
What “within the hour” actually means
Plenty of IT companies publish a response time and leave you to work out what it is a response to. Ours is the time until a technician is working on your problem, measured from when the ticket lands, during business hours, on a managed agreement.
It is not a promise that the problem is fixed in an hour. Nobody can promise that, because some problems are a password reset and some are a dead switch, and we do not know which one you have until we look.
Hourly work is booked in rather than covered by a response time. Call us and we will tell you when we can be there.
The commitment, in full
- A person answers the phone during business hours
- Tickets acknowledged within 15 minutes
- A technician working on it within the hour
- Measured from when the ticket lands, not from when someone reads it
- Business hours: 8am to 5pm Eastern, Monday to Friday
- Applies to managed agreements
If it plugs in, runs your business, or stops somebody working, it is ours
Where something needs a specialist, we bring one in rather than experimenting on your time.
Networks, Wi-Fi and servers
Firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi and the server in the closet, plus your internet provider when the problem is theirs. Network support
Microsoft 365 and Google
Accounts, mailboxes, shared files, licenses and the backup behind them. Microsoft 365 and cloud
Computers, Windows and Mac
Laptops, desktops, printers and scanners, set up, patched and fixed. Most offices we look after run both Windows and Mac.
Your software vendors
Practice management, accounting and industry software. We call the vendor, so you are not translating between two technical people.
Four ways to reach us, all of them ending in a ticket
Phone calls become tickets too. Nothing depends on somebody remembering a hallway conversation.
The same people, every time
We are a small team, and deliberately so. Whoever picks up has almost certainly worked on your network before, so you are not passed between three technicians while the problem gets explained again from the start.
Everyone who might answer your call is on our team page, with a name and a face, and the owner is still part of the work. If something is not going the way it should, you can talk to Jeremiah directly.
It is a real trade, and worth being straight about. A national provider has a night shift and we do not. What we have is people who know which of your machines is the awkward one.
When somebody needs to be in the room
- Most problems are faster to fix remotely. When it needs hands on hardware, we drive.
- Managed: no hourly labor for the visit, only a flat trip charge
- Hourly: $165 an hour, one hour minimum
- We cover Jacksonville and the Beaches, Orange Park and Clay County, St. Augustine, Brunswick and Waycross, where we have a second office
No long contract, no phone tree, no guessing at the price

Questions people ask before they sign anything
Super friendly local staff. Very knowledgeable. They help our company with all of our IT needs and are very fast responding to any request. They provide both on site and remote assistance. Highly recommend their services.
How long is the contract?
Month to month, with 30 days notice. There is no one year or three year term, and no early termination fee if you decide to leave.
Can we pay by the hour instead?
Yes. There is no agreement and no monthly fee. On site work is $165 an hour with a one hour minimum, and hourly work is booked in as availability allows, with managed clients first. Past a couple of calls a month, the managed agreement usually costs less.
We already have somebody internal. Does that rule us out?
No. Plenty of businesses have one IT person and use us for the after hours, the projects and the specialist work, so that person is not on call alone. Co-managed IT covers how that works.
Do you support Macs?
Yes, alongside Windows. Most offices we look after run both, usually because the design or marketing side went its own way years ago.
What about after hours?
Business hours are 8am to 5pm Eastern, Monday to Friday. Managed clients have an after hours route for things that cannot wait until morning. Hourly clients can call after hours too, billed at the emergency rate of $250 an hour.
What happens in the first few weeks?
We document what you have, which is often the first time anybody has. Then we get monitoring and backups in place and fix the urgent gaps, usually multifactor sign-in, backups and patching. Onboarding is a one time fee, quoted once we have seen what we are taking on.
